🍽️ Crispy Asparagus with Parmesan from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 750 g asparagus, green
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g parmesan
- salt and pepper
- 1 organic lemon(s)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the asparagus under running water.
- 2. Trim off the woody, fibrous ends of the stalks generously.
- 3. Cut thick asparagus stalks in half lengthwise so they cook evenly.
- 4. Place the asparagus in a bowl or directly into the air fryer basket.
- 5. Lightly moisten the stalks with a little olive oil.
- 6. Season the asparagus with pepper and mix everything well.
- 7. Use only a little oil so the asparagus roasts instead of steaming.
- 8. Do not overfill the basket so that the hot air can circulate well.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 10. Cook the asparagus for 10 minutes at 190 °C.
- 11. Shake the basket well halfway through the time or turn the asparagus.
- 12. Check after 8 minutes if thinner stalks are already soft.
- 13. Season the asparagus with salt as soon as it is soft and roasted.
- 14. Sprinkle finely grated Parmesan evenly over the asparagus.
- 15. Return the asparagus to the air fryer for 3 to 4 minutes at 190 °C.
- 16. Remove the asparagus when the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- 17. Garnish the finished asparagus with some lemon zest.
