🍽️ Crispy Halloumi Sticks from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 250 g Halloumi
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- chili powder (optional)
- cornstarch (or Panko)
- Parmesan (finely grated)
- 3 tbsp milk
- oil spray
Instructions
- 1. Cut the halloumi cheese into even sticks.
- 2. Dip the halloumi sticks briefly into some milk. This helps the coating stick better later.
- 3. Mix breadcrumbs (or starch), spices, and grated parmesan in a separate bowl.
- 4. Roll the milk-wet halloumi sticks in the breadcrumb mixture until they are completely covered.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 6. Lightly spray the breaded sticks with oil.
- 7. Place the sticks side by side in the cooking basket. Make sure they do not overlap so they become crispy.
- 8. Cook the halloumi fries for 10 to 15 minutes at 180 °C until golden brown.
- 9. Shake the cooking basket vigorously after half the time to ensure the sticks cook evenly.
- 10. Leave them in the fryer for another 1 to 2 minutes if you like them extra crispy.
