  1. 1. Peel the onion and garlic and cut them into very small cubes.
  2. 2. Wash the parsley and chop it finely.
  3. 3. Cut the feta cheese into 12 equal cubes (approx. 1.5 cm each).
  4. 4. Place the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, diced onion, garlic, and spices in a bowl.
  5. 5. Work the ingredients together with your hands until you have a uniform mixture.
  6. 6. Knead the mixture only briefly so the meatballs stay juicy and do not become too firm.
  7. 7. Shape the meat mixture into 12 equal-sized balls.
  8. 8. Press a small indentation into the center of each ball with your thumb.
  9. 9. Place one feta cube into each indentation.
  10. 10. Carefully close the opening so that the cheese is completely hidden inside the meat.
  11. 11. Shape the closed balls into round or oval meatballs.
  12. 12. Lightly brush the meatballs with olive oil or spray them with it.
  13. 13. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
  14. 14. Place the meatballs in the cooking basket with some space between them.
  15. 15. Cook the meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 °C.
  16. 16. Turn the meatballs once after half the cooking time has passed.
