🍽️ Crispy Asian Chicken Goulash from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 slice(s) ginger
- 2 tbsp ketchup (or grill sauce to taste)
- 100 ml water
- pepper
- curry powder
- chili powder
- 1 tsp ghee
- 0.5 tbsp sesame
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Season the meat with black pepper.
- 3. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of sesame oil.
- 4. Mix everything well and let the chicken marinate for about 1 hour.
- 5. Dice the onions into small cubes.
- 6. Fry the onion cubes in clarified butter.
- 7. Add grated ginger to the pan.
- 8. Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- 9. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
- 10. Add some ketchup to the mixture.
- 11. Pour in some water.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 13. Season the sauce to taste with curry and chili.
- 14. Dust the marinated chicken with cornstarch.
- 15. Mix the meat well so that the starch adheres evenly.
- 16. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 17. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket.
- 18. Roast the chicken for 14 minutes at 180 °C.
- 19. Stir the meat vigorously after about 8 minutes.
- 20. Roast the meat in several batches if necessary, if the basket is full.
- 21. Add the finished meat to the hot sauce.
- 22. Fold the meat in gently until it is completely covered.
- 23. Sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds.
