🍰 Crispy Strawberry-Rhubarb Pastry Bites

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Henglein Fresh Puff Pastry XXL
- 200 g rhubarb (peeled)
- 100 g strawberries
- 1 pkg. pudding cream (baking-stable)
- 50 g pistachios
- powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Take the puff pastry out of the fridge.
- 2. Unroll the dough along with the included baking paper.
- 3. Cut the dough into 14 equal-sized rectangles.
- 4. Prepare the pudding cream according to the package instructions.
- 5. Spread the pudding cream thinly over each individual piece of dough.
- 6. Wash the rhubarb thoroughly.
- 7. Peel the rhubarb.
- 8. Cut the rhubarb into small pieces.
- 9. Place two rhubarb pieces on each dough piece.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
- 11. Bake the dough pieces in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
- 12. Meanwhile, wash the strawberries.
- 13. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
- 14. Chop the pistachios finely.
- 15. Take the baked rhubarb dough pieces out of the oven.
- 16. Top the dough pieces with the fresh strawberries.
- 17. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over them.
- 18. Dust the pastries with powdered sugar if desired.
