  4. 4. Pat the broccoli dry with a kitchen towel if necessary.
  5. 5. Place the broccoli florets into a bowl.
  6. 6. Add some olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  7. 7. Toss everything gently until the broccoli is evenly seasoned.
  8. 8. Place the florets in the air fryer basket with the cut side facing down.
  9. 9. Make sure the florets are placed quite close together.
  10. 10. Do not preheat the air fryer, but set it directly to 175 °C.
  11. 11. Cook the broccoli for 8 to 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Check on the broccoli occasionally, as appliances vary.
  13. 13. Check the tenderness towards the end of the cooking time.
