🍽️ Crispy Maultaschen Gratin with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 packs BÜRGER beef Maultaschen (each 360 g)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 6 tomato(es)
- 2 garlic clove(s)
- 1 bunch spring onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- 500 g tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp basil (chopped)
- 200 g hard cheese (e.g. Parmesan)

Instructions
- 1. Pour some oil into a pan and heat it up.
- 2. Wash the tomatoes and remove the hard parts.
- 3. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 4. Sauté the tomato cubes in the hot oil.
- 5. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 6. Add the chopped garlic to the pan.
- 7. Wash the spring onions.
- 8. Cut the white and light green parts of the spring onions into rings.
- 9. Add the spring onion rings to the pan.
- 10. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 11. Let the ingredients simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 12. Add the pureed tomatoes to the pan.
- 13. Add the parsley to the pan.
- 14. Add the basil to the pan.
- 15. Adjust the seasoning of the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 16. Grate the cheese finely.
- 17. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 18. Grease a baking dish.
- 19. Arrange the maultaschen in the baking dish.
- 20. Pour the tomato sauce over the maultaschen.
- 21. Sprinkle everything with the grated cheese.
- 22. Bake the dish for about 20 minutes.
- 23. Remove the dish from the oven when it is golden brown.
