  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
  2. 2. Cut the potatoes into even slices.
  3. 3. Cut the slices into stick shapes (strips).
  4. 4. Place the potato sticks in a container with cold water for about 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Drain the water.
  6. 6. Pat the potatoes very dry with a kitchen towel or paper napkin.
  7. 7. Put the potatoes into a bowl.
  8. 8. Add the desired spices and the oil.
  9. 9. Mix everything well until the potatoes are evenly coated.
  10. 10. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
  11. 11. Put the potatoes into the basket of the air fryer.
  12. 12. Cook the fries for 18 to 20 minutes at 190 °C.
  13. 13. Shake the basket vigorously once after about 9 minutes so they become evenly crispy.
  14. 14. Take the finished fries out of the air fryer.
  15. 15. Put them into a serving bowl.
  16. 16. Taste them and season again if necessary.
