  1. 1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized, walnut-sized cubes.
  2. 2. Lightly season the meat pieces with a little salt.
  3. 3. Place the flour into a shallow bowl.
  4. 4. Whisk the eggs in a second, separate bowl with a splash of milk.
  5. 5. Mix the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl with sweet paprika powder, smoked paprika powder, and cayenne pepper.
  6. 6. Do not add more salt to the breading mixture, as the nuggets are usually served with spicy sauces.
  7. 7. Preheat the air fryer for about 5 minutes at 200 °C.
  8. 8. Coat the chicken pieces one by one first in the flour.
  9. 9. Then dip the floured pieces completely into the egg-milk mixture.
  10. 10. Finally, press the wet pieces firmly into the seasoned panko breadcrumbs until they are well covered all around.
  11. 11. Place the breaded nuggets in the fryer basket with some space between them.
  12. 12. Make sure the nuggets are arranged loosely so they become crispy instead of just baking.
  13. 13. Lightly spray the nuggets with a little oil.
  14. 14. Cook the chicken nuggets at 200 °C for around 10 minutes in the air fryer.
  15. 15. Check the browning level in between, as the time may vary depending on piece size and device.
  16. 16. Remove the nuggets as soon as they are golden brown and crispy.
