🍽️ Crispy Brussels Sprouts from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 800 g Brussels sprouts
- 1 organic lemon(s)
- 1.5 tbsp sunflower oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Remove the outer wilted leaves from the Brussels sprouts.
- 2. Trim off the small, hard stem ends at the base of the Brussels sprouts.
- 3. Make a small cross-shaped cut into the bottom of each Brussels sprout head.
- 4. Place the prepared Brussels sprouts into a large bowl.
- 5. Finely grate the zest of one organic lemon and add it to the bowl.
- 6. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add it to the bowl as well.
- 7. Season the Brussels sprouts with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- 8. Add a splash of oil to the bowl.
- 9. Toss everything well until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated with the marinade.
- 10. Place the Brussels sprouts into the basket of the air fryer.
- 11. Set the air fryer to 170 °C and cook the Brussels sprouts for 20 minutes.
- 12. Halfway through the time (after 10 minutes), pull out the drawer and shake the Brussels sprouts vigorously.
- 13. Remove the crispy Brussels sprouts after the time is up and serve immediately.
