  1. 1. Choose potatoes that are roughly the same size to ensure even cooking.
  2. 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
  3. 3. Place a potato between two cooking spoons to prevent cutting all the way through.
  4. 4. Cut the potato in a fan shape, stopping about two-thirds of the way down.
  5. 5. Ensure the cuts are even and not too close together.
  6. 6. Repeat the cutting process for all potatoes.
  7. 7. Put the olive oil, grated Parmesan, and fries seasoning into a bowl.
  8. 8. Mix the ingredients well together.
  9. 9. Coat the potatoes with the marinade.
  10. 10. Make sure the marinade gets into the cuts as well.
  11. 11. Place the potatoes side by side in the air fryer basket.
  12. 12. Avoid stacking the potatoes on top of each other.
  13. 13. Do not preheat the air fryer.
  14. 14. Set the air fryer to 190 °C.
  15. 15. Cook the potatoes for 25 minutes.
  16. 16. Check on the potatoes occasionally, as appliances vary in temperature.
  17. 17. Remove the potatoes when they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
  18. 18. Serve the fan potatoes immediately after cooking.
