🍽️ Oven-Baked Döner Minced Meat in Parchment Paper

Ingredients
- 400 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- 0.5 tbsp salt
- 0.5 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 0.5 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 0.5 tbsp paprika powder, hot
- 1 handful salad
- 0.5 cucumber(s)
- 1 tomato(s)
- as needed Tzatziki (cocktail sauce or yogurt sauce)
- 1 flatbread(s) (or döner pocket)
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop one onion.
- 2. Mix the minced meat with the onion, yogurt, and spices in a bowl.
- 3. Optionally blend the meat mixture with a hand blender to make it finer.
- 4. Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions.
- 5. Place a sheet of parchment paper on your work surface.
- 6. Spread the first portion of meat flat onto the parchment paper.
- 7. Place a second sheet of parchment paper on top of the meat.
- 8. Roll out the meat slab with a rolling pin to a thickness of approx. 3 mm.
- 9. Carefully peel off the top layer of parchment paper.
- 10. Tightly roll the meat slab together with the bottom parchment paper into a log.
- 11. Repeat steps 5 to 10 with the second portion of meat.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan-forced.
- 13. Place the meat rolls on a baking tray.
- 14. Bake the rolls in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 15. Remove the rolls from the oven and carefully unwrap them from the parchment paper.
- 16. Shred the cooked meat into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 17. Toast the flatbreads in a contact grill.
- 18. Spread tzatziki onto the breads.
- 19. Distribute the Döner meat onto the bread.
- 20. Top the Döner with lettuce, cucumber, and tomato.
- 21. Add onions or additional sauces to taste.
- 22. Place the unbaked meat rolls into the basket of the air fryer.
- 23. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 24. Cook the meat rolls in Air-Fry mode for 18 minutes.
