🍽️ Crispy Apple Fritters from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 3 large apples (Braeburn)
- 2 large egg(s)
- 90 g sugar
- 2 pkgs. vanilla sugar
- 4 tbsp yogurt (3,8 %)
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp, leveled cinnamon powder
- 0.5 lemon(s), juice from it
- some coconut oil (for the pan)
- some powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- 1. Peel the apples and remove the core.
- 2. Grate the apples coarsely.
- 3. Drizzle the grated apples with a little lemon juice.
- 4. Beat the eggs together with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and yogurt until frothy.
- 5. Stir in the flour, cinnamon powder, and baking powder briefly into the egg mixture.
- 6. Squeeze the grated apples well with your hands to remove the liquid.
- 7. Fold the squeezed apples into the batter.
- 8. Lightly grease the basket of the air fryer with coconut oil.
- 9. Place small mounds of the batter into the air fryer using two tablespoons.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 175 °C and bake the apple fritters for about 9 to 10 minutes until golden brown and risen.
- 11. Dust the finished fritters with powdered sugar if desired.
