  3. 3. Place the crumbs in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
  4. 4. Remove any stems from the blackberries.
  5. 5. Rinse the berries gently under running water if they are dirty.
  6. 6. Dry the blackberries thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  7. 7. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl.
  8. 8. Add the remaining ingredients for the batter.
  9. 9. Stir everything together until you have a smooth batter.
  10. 10. Spread the batter evenly in your baking pan (e.g., 20 cm springform or 18x18 cm pan with a lift-out bottom).
