🍽️ Three delicious bruschetta ideas with bread dumpling slices

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. HENGLEIN Bohemian dumplings ((500 g), or HENGLEIN bread dumplings "Bohemian style")
- olive oil
- 5 slice/s HENGLEIN Bohemian dumplings (or bread dumplings)
- 2 large onion/s, red
- 150 g Camembert
- 2 tbsp butter
- thyme
- salt and pepper
- a little honey
- 5 slice/s HENGLEIN Bohemian dumplings (or bread dumplings)
- 100 g bacon
- 100 g ricotta
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 peach/e (cut into thin slices)
- balsamic cream
- to taste basil (finely chopped)
- 5 slice/s HENGLEIN Bohemian dumplings (or bread dumplings)
- 1 small avocado/s
- 1 pkg. mini mozzarella
- 8 small tomato/s
- a little basil
- balsamic cream
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Place the slices of Bohemian or bread dumplings on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 2. Lightly brush both sides with olive oil.
- 3. Bake them in the preheated oven on the highest grill setting for about 1 to 2 minutes.
- 4. Remove the tray, turn the slices over, and bake them for another approx. 1 minute until crispy.
- 5. Variation 1: Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings.
- 6. Melt butter in a large pan and add the onions and a pinch of salt.
- 7. Sauté them, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and caramelized.
- 8. Season with pepper.
- 9. Generously top each dumpling slice with the caramelized onions.
- 10. Slice the Camembert and place it on top.
- 11. Sprinkle with fresh thyme.
- 12. Bake the bruschetta briefly under the grill until the cheese melts.
- 13. Drizzle with honey afterwards.
- 14. Variation 2: Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy and place it on a paper towel to drain the fat.
- 15. Briefly fry the peach slices in the remaining bacon fat.
- 16. Mix Ricotta and honey.
- 17. Spread one tablespoon of this mixture onto each dumpling slice.
- 18. Top each slice with three peach slices (adjust for size) and distribute the crispy bacon over it.
- 19. Finish with balsamic cream and fresh chopped basil.
- 20. Variation 3: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and place the flesh in a bowl.
- 21. Mash it with a fork and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- 22. Optionally, you can add some pressed garlic.
- 23. Spread the cream evenly over the toasted slices.
- 24. Top with chopped mozzarella and tomatoes.
- 25. Serve with fresh basil and a dollop of balsamic cream.
