- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 0.75 tsp salt
- 140 ml water, lukewarm
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil (approx. maybe also a bit more)
- 100 g crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp, heaped tomato(es)
- 1 tbsp, heaped ham
- 1 tbsp, heasted roasted onions
- 2 tbsp cheese, grated
- to taste Café de Paris (spice)
- maybe salt
Instructions
- 1. Mix the flour, dry yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- 2. Add the lukewarm water and oil, then stir until you have a smooth dough.
- 3. Knead the dough vigorously for several minutes until it is smooth and no longer sticks to the bowl.
- 4. If the dough is still sticky, add a little more oil and knead it again.
- 5. Cover the bowl and place the dough in a warm spot.
- 6. Wait until the dough volume has increased noticeably.
- 7. Dice the tomatoes and the Caciocavallo cheese into small pieces.
- 8. Mix the topping ingredients in a separate bowl.
- 9. Season the mixture with half of the spice blend, adding more if needed.
- 10. Do not add extra salt to the topping, as the cheese and ham are already salty.
- 11. Divide the finished dough into four equal portions.
- 12. Freeze two of these portions for later use.
- 13. Roll out the remaining two portions flat and oval.
- 14. Spread the topping evenly over the dough, almost to the edge.
- 15. Place the flatbreads on baking paper into the air fryer.
- 16. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and bake the flatbreads for 15 minutes until crispy.
