Ingredients
- 1 packet Chefkoch x Ostmann spice preparation for goulash
- 500 g pork goulash
- 600 ml vegetable broth
- 200 ml dark beer
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche
- to taste sauce thickener
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a large pot or pan and sear the meat on high heat. Dice the onion and add it to the meat along with the mustard, tomato paste, and the spice mix.
- 2. Deglaze the pot with beer and add the broth until the meat is fully covered. Simmer the goulash with the lid on over low heat for about one hour.
- 3. Stir in the crème fraîche five minutes before the cooking time is up. If you prefer a thicker sauce, thicken it with a little bit of sauce thickener.
