🍽️ Crispy Spelt Bread from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500 g spelt flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp bread spice mix (optional)
- 330 ml water, lukewarm (approx.)
- 1 tbsp oil
- pepper
- salt
- sesame
- oil for the pan
- flour for the work surface
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and optional bread spice into a bowl.
- 2. Add the water and knead the ingredients first on slow, then on fast speed.
- 3. Add one tablespoon of oil and continue kneading the dough until it is well worked.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for one hour.
- 5. Knead the dough briefly by hand on a lightly floured surface.
- 6. Grease the basket of your air fryer and place the dough inside.
- 7. Cover the dough and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- 8. Brush the surface of the dough with some water.
- 9. Sprinkle the bread with sesame seeds, salt, and pepper.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 170 °C and select the Airfry function.
- 11. Bake the bread for 47 minutes.
- 12. Turn the bread after 30 minutes so that the bottom side also turns golden brown.
- 13. Let the finished bread cool completely on a rack before slicing it.
