🍰 Crispy Berliners from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500 g wheat flour Type 405
- 75 g sugar
- 1 pk. dry yeast
- 250 ml milk, lukewarm
- 2 egg(s), size M
- 80 g butter, soft
- 1 jar strawberry jam
- oil (for spraying)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Mix flour, sugar, dry yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
- 2. Add lukewarm milk, eggs, and soft butter to the flour mixture.
- 3. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 5. Knead the risen dough briefly again.
- 6. Form small balls from the dough.
- 7. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 8. Let the balls rise again, covered, for about 30 minutes.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer.
- 10. Place the dough balls in the air fryer basket.
- 11. Lightly spray the balls with oil.
- 12. Bake the Berliners at 180 °C for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 13. Spray the Berliners with oil again during the baking process.
- 14. Remove the Berliners from the air fryer and let them cool.
- 15. Poke a hole into the side of each Berliner using the handle of a teaspoon.
- 16. Fill strawberry jam into a piping bag.
- 17. Carefully fill the Berliners with the jam.
- 18. Dust the finished Berliners with powdered sugar.
- 19. Serve the Berliners immediately.
