  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and grate them coarsely.
  2. 2. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Squeeze the potatoes tightly in the towel to remove as much liquid as possible.
  4. 4. Peel the onion and chop it finely or grate it.
  5. 5. Add the squeezed potatoes, the onion, the eggs, and the flour to a large bowl.
  6. 6. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  7. 7. Season the mixture to taste with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
  8. 8. Lightly grease a silicone mold (approx. 24 cm diameter, 4.5 liters volume) with oil.
  9. 9. Fill the potato mixture evenly into the mold and smooth the surface.
  10. 10. Brush the surface of the mixture with a little rapeseed oil.
  11. 11. Place the mold in the air fryer, preheat to 200 °C, and bake the cake for 20 minutes.
  12. 12. Carefully turn the potato cake and bake for another 10 minutes at 200 °C.
  13. 13. Carefully release the finished cake from the mold and serve it.
  14. 14. Serve the cake as a main course for two people or as a crispy side dish instead of potato dumplings.
