🍽️ Honey Bacon Chicken Breast from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 4 slices bacon
Instructions
- 1. Mix honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl until smooth.
- 2. Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Season the chicken breasts generously on both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 4. Wrap two slices of bacon around each chicken breast.
- 5. Secure the ends of the bacon with toothpicks so they do not fall off.
- 6. Brush the chicken breasts generously with the prepared honey marinade.
- 7. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 8. Place the chicken breasts in the basket of the air fryer.
- 9. Cook the chicken breasts for 9 minutes at 200 °C.
- 10. Turn the chicken breasts once after half the time.
- 11. Brush the chicken breasts again with the remaining marinade after turning.
- 12. Continue cooking for another 9 to 11 minutes at 200 °C until the meat is fully cooked and the bacon is crispy.
- 13. Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer.
- 14. Carefully remove the toothpicks.
- 15. Serve the chicken hot immediately.
