Ingredients
- 800 g potato(es)
- to taste paprika powder
- a little cornstarch
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into sticks the size of classic french fries.
- 3. Fill a bowl with water and add some salt.
- 4. Place the potato strips in the salted water for one hour to release starch.
- 5. Remove the potatoes from the water.
- 6. Dry the potato strips very thoroughly with a cloth.
- 7. Season the fries with paprika powder.
- 8. Dust them with about one teaspoon of cornstarch.
- 9. Place the fries in the air fryer.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and cook the fries for 25 minutes.
- 11. Season the finished fries with salt before serving.
- 12. There are about 160 kilocalories per portion.
