Ingredients
- 2 packs BÜRGER Maultaschen traditional Swabian
- 200 g ham cubes
- 200 g Emmental (grated)
- 4 egg(s)
- 200 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- parsley (fresh, chopped)
- a little olive oil
- fats for the dish
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Lightly grease a baking dish with fat.
- 3. Place the Maultaschen (Swabian dumplings) into the prepared dish.
- 4. Distribute the diced ham pieces evenly over the Maultaschen.
- 5. Whisk the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl until the mixture is homogeneous.
- 6. Pour the egg-cream mixture over the Maultaschen.
- 7. Generously sprinkle grated Emmental cheese over the bake.
- 8. Bake the dish in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- 9. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the dish before serving.
