🍽️ Gyros-Spätzle Casserole

Ingredients
- 500 g BÜRGER Swabian Egg Spätzle
- 750 g Gyros meat
- 500 g sweet cream
- 500 g sour cream (or crème fraîche)
- 1 can mushrooms
- 3 bell pepper(s)
- 200 g cheese, grated (casserole cheese)
Instructions
- 1. Cook the Spätzle exactly according to the package instructions. Fry the Gyros meat in a pan while you dice the bell pepper into small cubes. Add the diced bell pepper and mushrooms to the meat and let everything sizzle together for a short time.
- 2. Place the Gyros in a large baking dish. Stir sour cream or crème fraîche and sweet cream into the meat. Add the cooked Spätzle and mix everything thoroughly.
- 3. Sprinkle the grated cheese (casserole cheese) evenly over the Spätzle mixture. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced for about 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
