🍽️ Crispy Chili Beef Strips from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500 g beef steak(s)
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp spice mix (cumin, fennel, turmeric, curry, paprika)
- 2 bell pepper(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 30 g ginger
- 2 chili
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 8 tbsp chili sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- 1. Cut the beef into thin strips.
- 2. Mix 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and the spice mix in a bowl.
- 3. Place the beef strips in the marinade and let them marinate for 2 hours.
- 4. Dice the bell peppers, chili, onions, and ginger into small cubes.
- 5. Sauté the onions in a pot.
- 6. Add the bell peppers, chili, and ginger and sauté everything briefly.
- 7. Deglaze the vegetables with vegetable broth, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and vinegar.
- 8. Stir the chili sauce into the sauce.
- 9. Let the sauce simmer until the bell peppers are soft.
- 10. Mix the marinated beef with cornstarch.
- 11. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and mix everything well.
- 12. Spread the beef in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- 13. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and cook the beef for 7 minutes.
- 14. Turn the beef and cook it for another 6 minutes.
- 15. Place the finished beef on top of the prepared vegetable sauce.
- 16. Serve the dish immediately.
