  1. 1. Season the meat generously with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Mix mustard, beet syrup, paprika powder, and a little oil to create a marinade.
  3. 3. Brush the meat thoroughly with this marinade.
  4. 4. Wrap the meat tightly in aluminum foil.
  5. 5. Place the foil package in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Take the meat out of the fridge and remove the aluminum foil.
  7. 7. Place the meat in a large, oven-safe dish.
  8. 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and switch to the baking function.
  9. 9. Cook the meat for 30 minutes at 180 °C.
  10. 10. Remove the dish briefly and add the drained black salsify from the jar.
  11. 11. Drizzle the black salsify with lemon juice.
  12. 12. Brush everything again with the remaining marinade.
  13. 13. Place the dish back in the air fryer and bake for another 20 minutes at 180 °C.
