🍽️ Crunchy Toastie-Burger from the Air Fryer

Ingredients

- 2 slice(s) Bacon
- 50 g ground beef
- 1 slice(s) Edam cheese
- as needed ketchup
- as needed mayonnaise
- pepper
- optional spice(s) (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 2. Split the toastie bread into two halves.
- 3. Spread a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise on one bread half.
- 4. Season the sauce with a little pepper if desired.
- 5. Distribute the minced meat on the other bread half.
- 6. Press the meat flat and evenly with a fork.
- 7. Cut the bacon slices into smaller pieces if necessary.
- 8. Place the bacon pieces on each side of the toastie.
- 9. Place both toastie halves side by side in the air fryer.
- 10. Cook the toasties at 180 °C for about 8 minutes.
- 11. Cut the cheese slice so that it fits exactly on one bread half.
- 12. Open the air fryer drawer after 8 minutes.
- 13. Place the cheese on the cooked minced meat.
- 14. Distribute any extra cheese on the other bread half.
- 15. Increase the temperature back to 200 °C.
- 16. Cook the toasties for another 90 seconds until the cheese is melted.
- 17. Take the finished toasties out of the fryer.
- 18. Fold the two halves together.
- 19. Let the toasties cool down briefly as they are very hot.
- 20. Enjoy your homemade toastie burger.
