🍽️ Crispy Roasted Onions from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 large onion(s) (ca. 200 g)
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, light
- a little salt
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and slice it into 3 millimeter thick slices.
- 2. Separate the slices into individual rings and place them in a bowl.
- 3. Add 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and mix everything well.
- 4. Let the onions rest in the marinade for 15 minutes.
- 5. Remove the onion rings from the bowl and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Place the dry rings back into the bowl.
- 7. Season with salt to taste and mix it in.
- 8. Add the oil and mix everything thoroughly until the rings are evenly coated.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 120 °C.
- 10. Distribute the onion rings evenly in the air fryer basket.
- 11. Cook the rings for approx. 30 minutes at 120 °C until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 12. Turn the onions every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
