Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 200 g Oats, coarse
- 50 g Protein powder (e.g. Whey)
- 75 g Apple sauce
- 50 g Maple syrup
- 1 Pinch(es) Salt
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the egg in a bowl using a fork or a whisk.
- 2. Add all remaining ingredients to the egg mixture and stir everything well.
- 3. Add dried fruits or coconut flakes if you like.
- 4. Place a sheet of baking paper on a flat work surface.
- 5. Spread the dough mixture evenly on the baking paper.
- 6. Press the mixture into a flat rectangle or square with uniform thickness.
- 7. Preheat the air fryer to 170 °C.
- 8. Place the baking paper with the dough into the air fryer basket.
- 9. Bake the bars for 20 minutes at 170 °C until golden brown.
- 10. Remove the baking paper and place it on a kitchen wire rack.
- 11. Let the bars cool briefly, but cut them into individual portions while still warm.
- 12. This recipe yields about 8 bars.
- 13. One single bar (50 g) contains approx. 156 kcal, 21 g carbohydrates, 8 g protein, and 5 g fat.
- 14. The protein content is moderate, but it gives you a small energy boost.
