  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and place them on a large spoon.
  2. 2. Slice the potatoes thinly with a sharp knife, but do not cut all the way through to the bottom so they stay connected.
  3. 3. Ensure that the slice thickness is about three millimeters.
  4. 4. Slice the garlic clove into thin pieces.
  5. 5. Place the prepared potatoes into the basket of the air fryer.
  6. 6. Brush the potatoes lightly with oil, preferably chili oil.
  7. 7. Insert the garlic slices and rosemary sprigs into the slits of the potatoes.
  8. 8. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and place the potatoes inside for 14 minutes.
  9. 9. Open the basket after 14 minutes and brush the potatoes again with a little oil.
  10. 10. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. 11. Close the basket and bake the potatoes for another 14 to 16 minutes until crispy.
  12. 12. Serve the fan potatoes hot with a tasty dip, herb butter, or herb quark.
