🍽️ Crispy Ham and Cheese Toast in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup crème fraîche
- 1 handful parmesan, grated
- 1 handful emmental (grated)
- 4 slice/s sandwich toast (or toast)
- 4 slice/s cooked ham
- 4 slice/s emmental
- butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Whisk two tablespoons of crème fraîche in a small bowl with grated Parmesan and grated Emmental cheese.
- 2. Season the cheese and crème fraîche mixture with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.
- 3. Butter one slice of toast bread evenly on one side.
- 4. Layer the buttered side of the toast slice alternately with a layer of ham and a layer of cheese.
- 5. Generously spread the prepared crème fraîche and cheese mixture on one side of a second slice of toast bread.
- 6. Place the spread side of the second toast slice directly onto the ham and cheese filling of the first slice.
- 7. Spread the now facing upward, unspread side of the top toast slice with the crème fraîche and cheese mixture as well.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 9. Place the toast into the basket of the air fryer.
- 10. Cook the toast in the air fryer using the "Roast" program for 6 to 8 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
