  1. 1. Place the quark into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Stir the eggs into the quark until the mixture is creamy.
  3. 3. Add the vanilla sugar, flour, and baking powder.
  4. 4. Mix everything into a uniform dough.
  5. 5. Note that the dough remains quite sticky.
  6. 6. Scoop out 14 balls from the dough.
  7. 7. Use an ice cream scoop and your hands for this.
  8. 8. Slightly wet your hands or dust them with flour so the dough does not stick.
  9. 9. Preheat the air fryer to 185 °C.
  10. 10. Place a piece of baking paper in the cooking basket.
  11. 11. Make sure not to overfill the cooking basket.
  12. 12. Bake the balls for 13 minutes at 185 °C.
  13. 13. Turn the balls over after 8 minutes.
  14. 14. If necessary, bake the balls in two batches.
  15. 15. Roll the warm quark balls in melted butter.
  16. 16. Then roll them in sugar or cinnamon sugar.
