Ingredients
- 300 g Salsiccia (coarse Italian sausage)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 onion(s)
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 clove(s) garlic (young)
- 600 g tomatoes, chunky (from the can)

- 3. Add the tomato pieces, season with salt and pepper, and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes over low to medium heat.
- 4. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems, chop them roughly, and sprinkle them over the finished sauce.
