🍽️ Crispy Chicken Gyros on a Rotisserie Skewer in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 800 g chicken cutlets (thinly sliced)
- 2 garlic clove(s)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tsp marjoram
- 2 tsp thyme
- 3 tsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 60 ml olive oil
- 2 onion(s) (for the skewer)
Instructions
- 1. Press the garlic.
- 2. Mix the garlic in a small bowl with the spices, herbs, and oil to create a marinade.
- 3. Brush the chicken cutlets with the marinade.
- 4. Place the marinated cutlets into a container.
- 5. Marinate the meat in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours or overnight.
- 6. Thread the first onion onto the rotisserie skewer.
- 7. Slide the onion to the bottom end of the skewer.
- 8. Thread the marinated chicken cutlets onto the skewer.
- 9. Thread the second onion onto the skewer to finish.
- 10. Place the rotisserie skewer in the air fryer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 11. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and grill the meat until crispy for 30 to 40 minutes.
- 12. Check the cooking time, as every air fryer works differently.
- 13. Serve the gyros with tzatziki, fries, rice, or a fresh salad.
