  1. 1. Wash the apples thoroughly.
  2. 2. Remove the core and cut the flesh into small cubes.
  3. 3. Place the apple cubes in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice.
  4. 4. Beat the egg loosely in a large mixing bowl.
  5. 5. Add the soft butter and sugar to the egg mixture.
  6. 6. Mix everything with a mixer or whisk until the mass is smooth and creamy.
  7. 7. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, ground almonds, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  8. 8. Add the dry ingredients to the egg-butter mixture.
  9. 9. Stir everything gently until no more flour is visible.
  10. 10. Stir the orange juice into the batter.
  11. 11. Gently fold in the diced apples and cranberries.
  12. 12. Line a loaf pan (approx. 20 x 12 cm) with baking paper.
  13. 13. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  14. 14. Place the pan in the drawer of the Ninja Dual Zone.
  15. 15. Preheat the air fryer to 140 °C and bake the cake for 45 minutes in „Bake“ mode.
  16. 16. Increase the temperature to 160 °C and bake the cake for another 15 minutes in „Bake“ mode.
  17. 17. Turn off the device and let the cake rest for 10 minutes in the closed drawer.
  18. 18. Remove the cake from the pan.
  19. 19. Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.
