  1. 1. Peel the apples.
  2. 2. Cut the apples into small cubes.
  3. 3. Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer until frothy.
  4. 4. Add a few drops of vanilla flavoring.
  5. 5. Stir the butter into the egg mixture.
  6. 6. Add the ground almonds, flour, and baking powder.
  7. 7. Mix everything well with the mixer until you have a smooth batter.
  8. 8. Gently fold the apple cubes into the batter.
  9. 9. Fold a piece of baking paper in half.
  10. 10. Fold the paper in half again.
  11. 11. Cut off the pointed corner of the folded paper.
  12. 12. Unfold the paper and place it roundly in the Actifry pan.
  13. 13. Spread the batter evenly over the baking paper.
  14. 14. Preheat the Actifry to 170 °C.
  15. 15. Set the cooking time to 40 minutes.
  16. 16. After the time is up, check with a wooden skewer if the cake is firm inside.
  17. 17. Turn the finished cake out onto a cooling rack.
  18. 18. Carefully remove the baking paper.
  19. 19. Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar if desired.
