  1. 1. Preheat the air fryer to 170 °C.
  2. 2. Mix the first three dry ingredients well in a bowl.
  3. 3. Beat the egg lightly with a fork or a whisk.
  4. 4. Stir in all remaining ingredients except the chocolate chips into the egg.
  5. 5. Add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture and stir only until the dry ingredients are just moist.
  6. 6. Do not worry about small lumps in the batter, they do not affect the result.
  7. 7. Fill the muffin molds (e.g., silicone) only halfway with the batter.
  8. 8. Press a few chocolate chips into the center of the batter in each mold.
  9. 9. Fill the molds with the remaining batter.
  10. 10. Place the molds in the air fryer and bake the muffins at 170 °C for approx. 20 minutes.
  11. 11. Let the muffins cool in the air fryer until they are almost completely cold.
  12. 12. Carefully remove the finished muffins from the molds.
  13. 13. Decorate the muffins to your liking and enjoy them.
