  1. 1. Beat the butter, sugar, and two eggs with a mixer until creamy.
  2. 2. Add the low-fat quark (curd cheese) and vanilla sugar, then mix briefly.
  3. 3. Stir in the packet of vanilla pudding powder and mix the batter well.
  4. 4. Line the bottom of a 20 cm springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides.
  5. 5. Pour the quark batter into the prepared pan.
  6. 6. Distribute the well-drained cherries evenly over the surface.
  7. 7. Press the cherries slightly into the batter.
  8. 8. Place the pan into the air fryer basket.
  9. 9. Bake the cake for 15 minutes at 160 °C.
  10. 10. Reduce the temperature to 140 °C and bake for another 20 minutes.
  11. 11. Check if the cake is set.
  12. 12. If the center is still soft, bake the dessert for a few more minutes at 120 °C.
