🍰 Fluffy Cherry Quark Cake from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500 g low-fat quark
- 40 g butter, softened
- 2 egg(s)
- 70 g sugar
- 1 pkg. vanilla sugar
- 1 pkg. vanilla pudding powder
- 1 jar sour cherries (alternatively a can of mandarins)
- fats for the pan
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter, sugar, and two eggs with a mixer until creamy.
- 2. Add the low-fat quark (curd cheese) and vanilla sugar, then mix briefly.
- 3. Stir in the packet of vanilla pudding powder and mix the batter well.
- 4. Line the bottom of a 20 cm springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides.
- 5. Pour the quark batter into the prepared pan.
- 6. Distribute the well-drained cherries evenly over the surface.
- 7. Press the cherries slightly into the batter.
- 8. Place the pan into the air fryer basket.
- 9. Bake the cake for 15 minutes at 160 °C.
- 10. Reduce the temperature to 140 °C and bake for another 20 minutes.
- 11. Check if the cake is set.
- 12. If the center is still soft, bake the dessert for a few more minutes at 120 °C.
