  2. 2. Add the ground beef and all spices to a large bowl.
  3. 3. Knead the meat mixture thoroughly with your hands.
  4. 4. Add the egg to the meat mixture.
  5. 5. Add the breadcrumbs gradually.
  6. 6. Continue kneading until a firm and homogeneous mass forms.
  7. 7. Stir the mustard into the meat mixture.
  8. 8. Shape the mixture into four equal-sized burger patties.
  9. 9. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  10. 10. Place the patties in the air fryer basket.
  11. 11. Cook the patties for 6 minutes at 180 °C.
  12. 12. Flip the patties after 6 minutes.
  13. 13. Cook the patties for another 6 minutes at 180 °C until crispy.
  14. 14. If necessary, repeat the process with a second batch of patties.
  15. 15. Whisk mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard together in a small bowl to make the burger sauce.
  16. 16. Finely chop the pickles.
  17. 17. Fold the finely chopped pickles into the burger sauce.
  18. 18. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
  19. 19. Slice the remaining onion into thin rings.
  20. 20. Slice the remaining pickles.
  21. 21. Slice the burger buns horizontally.
  22. 22. Brush the inside of the buns with the burger sauce.
  23. 23. Place a cooked burger patty on the bottom bun half.
  24. 24. Add cheese to the hot patty as desired.
  25. 25. Top the patty with the onion slices and pickle slices.
  26. 26. Place the assembled burger in the air fryer.
  27. 27. Bake the bun for 2 to 3 minutes at 160 °C until the cheese melts.
  28. 28. Add fresh lettuce to the burger after baking.
