🍽️ Crispy Burger Patties from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 800 g ground beef
- 2 onion(s)
- 2 garlic clove(s)
- 1 egg(s)
- 60 g breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- paprika powder, sweet-spic
- 1 tbsp, level mustard
- 1 pickle(s)
- 2 tbsp, level mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp, level tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp, level mustard
- some salt and pepper
- paprika powder, sweet-spic
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 pickle(s)
- as needed cheese
- as needed lettuce
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- 2. Add the ground beef and all spices to a large bowl.
- 3. Knead the meat mixture thoroughly with your hands.
- 4. Add the egg to the meat mixture.
- 5. Add the breadcrumbs gradually.
- 6. Continue kneading until a firm and homogeneous mass forms.
- 7. Stir the mustard into the meat mixture.
- 8. Shape the mixture into four equal-sized burger patties.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 10. Place the patties in the air fryer basket.
- 11. Cook the patties for 6 minutes at 180 °C.
- 12. Flip the patties after 6 minutes.
- 13. Cook the patties for another 6 minutes at 180 °C until crispy.
- 14. If necessary, repeat the process with a second batch of patties.
- 15. Whisk mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard together in a small bowl to make the burger sauce.
- 16. Finely chop the pickles.
- 17. Fold the finely chopped pickles into the burger sauce.
- 18. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 19. Slice the remaining onion into thin rings.
- 20. Slice the remaining pickles.
- 21. Slice the burger buns horizontally.
- 22. Brush the inside of the buns with the burger sauce.
- 23. Place a cooked burger patty on the bottom bun half.
- 24. Add cheese to the hot patty as desired.
- 25. Top the patty with the onion slices and pickle slices.
- 26. Place the assembled burger in the air fryer.
- 27. Bake the bun for 2 to 3 minutes at 160 °C until the cheese melts.
- 28. Add fresh lettuce to the burger after baking.
