  1. 1. Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar with a mixer until the mixture is airy and frothy.
  2. 2. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a separate bowl.
  3. 3. Stir the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  4. 4. Pour in the oil and the Fanta soda and mix everything well until you have a smooth batter.
  5. 5. Grease a baking pan with some fat.
  6. 6. Spread the batter evenly inside the pan.
  7. 7. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius fan mode for 25 minutes.
  8. 8. Remove the cake from the oven.
  9. 9. Let it cool down completely.
  10. 10. Let the mandarin oranges drain well from the can.
  11. 11. Whip the cream until stiff, sprinkling in 3 packets of vanilla sugar and a teaspoon of cream stabilizer (an additive to help the cream hold its shape) while doing so.
  12. 12. Stir the sour cream (a creamy dairy product with a tangy taste) with 2 packets of vanilla sugar until smooth.
  13. 13. Fold in the drained mandarin oranges into the sour cream mixture.
  14. 14. Whip the prepared cream briefly.
  15. 15. Gently fold the cream into the mandarin sour cream mixture to keep it airy.
  16. 16. Spread the cream evenly over the cooled cake.
  17. 17. Place the cake in the refrigerator until the cream has set.
  18. 18. Sprinkle the finished cake with cinnamon sugar to taste.
