🍽️ Crispy Cauliflower Patties from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized cauliflower
- 2 tsp, level salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 1 large clove of garlic
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 1 small bunch of parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp, heaped flour
- 2 tbsp, level cheese, grated
- 2 medium-sized egg(s)
Instructions
- 1. Break the cauliflower into small florets.
- 2. Boil the florets in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- 3. Drain the vegetables well in a sieve.
- 4. Let the cauliflower cool down completely.
- 5. Pulverize the cold cauliflower in a food processor or blender.
- 6. Transfer the minced mass into a bowl.
- 7. Add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a dough.
- 8. Season the mixture to taste.
- 9. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes to bind.
- 10. If the mixture is too sticky, knead in a little more flour.
- 11. Shape the mixture into flat patties or meatballs.
- 12. Coat the patties in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
- 13. Place the patties in the basket of the air fryer.
- 14. Lightly spray the patties with oil or brush them thinly.
- 15. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and bake the patties for 12 minutes.
- 16. Turn the patties after 6 minutes of baking time.
- 17. Spray or brush the patties with a little more oil after turning.
- 18. Check the patties periodically for doneness.
- 19. Adjust the baking time as needed until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 20. Serve the patties hot with tzatziki.
- 21. Do not use olive oil for preparation, as it can taste bitter with garlic.
