Ingredients
- 1 packet HENGLEIN Fresh Egg Spätzle (400 g)
- 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 1 stalk leek
- 2 carrot(s)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Sambal Oelek
- 100 ml cream
- 250 ml poultry broth
- 3 tbsp Gouda (grated)
- salt and pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Pat the chicken meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Cut the meat into small cubes.
- 3. Wash the leek thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the tough ends from the leek.
- 5. Slice the leek into thin rings.
- 6. Peel the carrots.
- 7. Wash the carrots.
- 8. Cut the carrots into small cubes.
- 9. Heat the oil in a large pot.
- 10. Fry the chicken meat for about 2 minutes.
- 11. Add the leek and carrots to the pot.
- 12. Fry the vegetables for another 2 minutes.
- 13. Stir in the tomato paste.
- 14. Add the spicy chili paste Sambal Oelek.
- 15. Fry the spices briefly.
- 16. Deglaze the dish with cream.
- 17. Add the broth.
- 18. Add the Spätzle (German egg noodles) to the pan.
- 19. Let everything simmer for about 2 minutes.
- 20. Add the cheese.
- 21. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- 22. Sprinkle the finished dish with fresh parsley.
