  3. 3. Cut out the hard core at the bottom in a wedge shape.
  4. 4. Finely chop the green fennel fronds.
  5. 5. Slice the fennel bulb into very thin, long strips.
  6. 6. Heat the oil in a pan.
  7. 7. Place the fennel strips in the hot pan.
  8. 8. Cover the pan with a lid.
  9. 9. Turn the heat to a low setting.
  10. 10. Let the fennel simmer (cook gently) for ten minutes.
  11. 11. Add the pine nuts to the pan.
  12. 12. Season the mixture with salt.
  13. 13. Season the mixture with pepper.
  14. 14. Season the mixture with curry powder.
  15. 15. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
  16. 16. Place the toast slices in the toaster.

  28. 28. Sprinkle some chopped fennel fronds on top as decoration.

  32. 32. Top the new toast slices with the remaining fennel mixture.
  33. 33. Place the remaining mozzarella slices on top.

  35. 35. Set the air fryer temperature to 180 °C.
  36. 36. Bake the second batch of toasts for six minutes.
