  1. 1. Roll out the puff pastry and spread crème fraîche evenly over the surface. Next, sprinkle freshly ground black pepper, grated cheese, and ham over the top. Roll the pastry tightly from the long edge and cut the roll into about 16 pieces, each 2 to 3 centimeters thick.
  2. 2. Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each roll so they have room to rise while baking. Bake the rolls for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
