  1. 1. Put the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, herbs, and spices into a bowl.
  2. 2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon.
  3. 3. Lay a large sheet of aluminum foil on your work surface.
  4. 4. Shape the meat mixture into a flat rectangle on the foil.
  5. 5. Spread the cheese, ham, and spinach evenly over the meat surface.
  6. 6. Carefully roll the foil together with the meat mixture.
  7. 7. Seal the open ends of the roll tightly so nothing falls out.
  8. 8. Place the bacon slices over the entire surface of the roll.
  9. 9. Wrap the roll completely in aluminum foil again.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  11. 11. Place the roll on a baking tray and bake it for 25 minutes.
  12. 12. Carefully remove the aluminum foil from the roll.
  13. 13. Increase the oven temperature to 250 degrees Celsius.
  14. 14. Bake the roll for another 25 to 30 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  15. 15. Slice the finished roll into thick pieces.
