Ingredients
- 450 g flour
- as needed water (warm, approx. 250 - 280 ml)
- 1 tsp, level salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 400 g tomatoes, pureed
- 3 basil leaves (fresh)
- 1 tsp oregano (dried)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (chopped or pressed)
- as needed salt and pepper
- as needed tomato(s) (fresh)
- as needed mozzarella
- as needed cheese, grated
- as needed salami (or ham)
- as needed mushrooms
- as needed tuna
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat. Place the baking tray in the oven without parchment paper so it can heat up properly.
- 2. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Then knead the mixture with the water and olive oil into a soft dough. Divide the dough into four equal parts and shape them into balls. Let the dough balls rest for five minutes so they are easier to roll out later.
- 3. Use the dough's resting time to make the tomato sauce. Stir the pureed tomatoes well with the remaining ingredients. You can also add the garlic and basil leaves whole to the sauce and then blend (mix finely).
- 4. Once the sauce is ready, the dough is also ready. Roll out the dough balls thinly. Place up to two dough rounds on the hot baking tray and top them. Spread the sauce first, then the cheese, and finally the remaining ingredients.
- 5. Bake the pizza for about seven minutes in the preheated oven. The exact time may vary slightly depending on the oven, so check on it occasionally to prevent the pizza from burning.
