🍽️ BBQ Chicken Nachos

Ingredients
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 chicken breast fillet(s)
- 0.5 tsp salt (coarse)
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 200 ml barbecue sauce
- 1 packet tortilla chips
- 200 g cheese, grated (e.g. Gouda, Cheddar)
- 0.5 onion(s), red (diced)
- 1 tomato(es) (diced)
- 8 slice(s) ham (diced)
- 2 tsp parsley (chopped)
- 120 ml sour cream
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast fillet into small cubes.
- 2. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat. Sear the chicken cubes first, then add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Stir well. Add the barbecue sauce and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3. In a deep baking pan, spread a handful of tortilla chips and top them with half of the marinated chicken pieces. Distribute cheese, onions, tomatoes, ham, and parsley over them. Then repeat the process with the remaining chicken.
- 4. Bake the nachos in the preheated oven at 175 °C (top and bottom heat) for 15 minutes.
- 5. Add sour cream on top when serving.
