  8. 8. Cook the mixture for about 12 minutes.
  9. 9. Stir regularly to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom or clumping.
  10. 10. Add your desired herbs and spices once the sauce starts to thicken.
  11. 11. Stir in about 1 to 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese at the end.
