🍝 Quick Spaghetti with Ham and Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 300 g spaghetti
- 125 g ham cubes
- 200 ml cream
- 300 ml milk
- 400 ml water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 splash olive oil
- 1 tsp vegetable broth powder
- 1 tbsp parmesan, freshly grated
- salt and pepper
- herbs (fresh, dried or frozen)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat a large pan or pot over medium-high heat.
- 2. Add a splash of olive oil to the hot pan.
- 3. Fry the ham cubes until they are lightly browned.
- 4. Press the garlic clove into the pan and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- 5. Add the uncooked spaghetti directly to the pan.
- 6. Pour the cream, milk, and water over the pasta.
- 7. Stir in the vegetable bouillon powder until dissolved.
- 8. Cook the mixture for about 12 minutes.
- 9. Stir regularly to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom or clumping.
- 10. Add your desired herbs and spices once the sauce starts to thicken.
- 11. Stir in about 1 to 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese at the end.
- 12. Check if the pasta is al dente (firm to the bite) and the sauce looks creamy.
- 13. Optional: Stir in a little butter for more flavor intensity.
