🍽️ Juicy Chicken Drumsticks from the Oven

Ingredients
- 2 chicken thighs (each approx. 350 - 400 g)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil (creamy consistency, otherwise more)
- Himalayan salt (or sea salt)
- pepper, white
- paprika powder, sweet (smoked)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 2. Prepare a baking dish or a deep baking sheet.
- 3. Rinse the chicken drumsticks under running water.
- 4. Pat the drumsticks completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 5. Season the drumsticks generously with salt.
- 6. Season the drumsticks generously with pepper.
- 7. Season the drumsticks generously with smoked paprika powder.
- 8. Place the seasoned drumsticks into the prepared dish.
- 9. Melt the coconut oil in a small pan.
- 10. Brush the top side of the chicken drumsticks with the melted oil.
- 11. Place the dish in the preheated oven.
- 12. Bake the drumsticks using top and bottom heat for 15 minutes.
- 13. Remove the dish from the oven after 15 minutes.
- 14. Turn the chicken drumsticks.
- 15. Brush the now visible top side with oil again.
- 16. Place the dish back into the oven.
- 17. Bake the drumsticks for another 15 minutes.
- 18. Remove the dish from the oven after another 15 minutes.
- 19. Turn the chicken drumsticks again.
- 20. Season the drumsticks with more paprika powder if needed.
- 21. Place the dish back into the oven.
- 22. Bake the drumsticks for another 15 minutes.
- 23. Remove the dish from the oven after the final 15 minutes.
- 24. Brush the drumsticks occasionally with the pan juices.
- 25. The drumsticks are now particularly tender and juicy.
