Ingredients
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 150 g chocolate chips (dark chocolate)
- 50 g flour (finely sifted)
- 60 g powdered sugar (finely sifted)
- 2 vanilla pods (the seeds from them)
- 70 g almonds (blanched and ground)
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tsp orange zest
- 20 ml Cointreau
- 4 pieces dark chocolate (70% mild)
- butter (for the molds)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the butter into small cubes and break the chocolate into pieces. Put both into a pot and melt them gently over very low heat. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
- 2. Remove the pot from the heat and let the chocolate mixture cool down briefly. Add all remaining ingredients (except the large chocolate chunks) to a large bowl. Pour in the slightly cooled chocolate mixture and mix everything thoroughly with a spoon.
- 3. Take four small molds (e.g., espresso cups) and grease the inside with a little butter. Press the large chocolate pieces firmly into the bottom of each mold. Then fill the molds halfway with the chocolate mixture. Smooth the surface with a spoon.
- 4. Pour some water into the basket of your air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 150 °C. Carefully place the filled molds into the air fryer and bake the tartlets for approx. 15 minutes.
- 5. Carefully remove the molds from the air fryer. Let the tartlets cool down briefly so they set. Gently loosen them from the edges of the molds with a small knife and turn them out onto plates. Serve immediately.
